The people behind the timber
Real Wood Homes is led by Jesse, a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) with a background in building, project management and sales. Alongside him is Jock, who brings two decades of hands-on construction experience — including senior roles at Johnstone Construction and foreman on the Trapeze Volant Estate homes. Every home we send out carries that experience with it.
Based in Northland, we work closely with clients from Whangārei to Wanaka. Whether you need a kitset delivered to site or a full build managed end-to-end, the same team guides the process from first conversation to final handover.
Our passion is for homes that feel honest — where the structure is real, the material has warmth, and nothing is hidden behind cladding that doesn't deserve to be there.
